Please note: You must apply for funding BEFORE you submit an application for recognition to the Bavarian State Office for Nursing.

The following options are available for funding:

• Person abroad (third country): There is no possibility of funding. The costs must be paid by yourself or by the employer or the agency.
• Person in another EU country: Various costs may be covered (e.g. recognition fee, translations, relocation). Please contact EURES (https://eures.europa.eu/index_de) for more information. The ZAV (https://www.arbeitsagentur.de/vor-ort/zav/startseite) can advise you on this.
• Person in Germany: It is possible for the Federal Employment Agency to pay the costs. This option is only available if you are registered as unemployed or looking for work.

If no funding from the Federal Employment Agency is possible and other requirements are met: There are two federal funding options:
